You collaborate with investment and transactional lawyers supporting BDC and BDC Capital.

Your work covers direct investments, fund investments, co-investments, and growth equity activities.Key Responsibilities: Provide explicit, practical, timely advice on investment mattersSupport internal clients during complex transactionsNegotiate business-related agreements and strategic partnershipsCoordinate external lawyers mandated by BDCResearch legal issues relevant to business activitiesRequirements: University degree in lawFive or more years’ transactional law experienceVenture capital, growth, or private equity experienceCanadian provincial or territorial law society membershipStrong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsBring investment law experience, sound judgment, and business-oriented advice to BDC’s venture capital and growth equity activities.
