This Applications Engineer provides technical and commercial support for direct sales teams. You will review specifications, select pump configurations, develop proposals, and guide customers. The position also coordinates vendors, operations, engineering, and customer requirements for accurate project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review customer specifications and prepare professional pump proposals
- Use selection tools to determine optimal pump configurations
- Generate scopes of supply and process orders accurately
- Provide technical guidance to sales engineers and customers
- Obtain vendor quotations for auxiliary equipment
Requirements:
- Three to five years of rotating equipment experience
- Solid preference for centrifugal pump experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and industry standards
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
