Finning Canada seeks Heavy Duty Mechanics for permanent positions supporting mechanical equipment and Caterpillar generators. The work includes C175 engine diagnosis, genset repairs, fuel systems, heat exchangers, and PLC controllers. You will use Caterpillar SIS and ET while completing technical documentation and coordinating with customers, sales support, and Finning teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and repair Caterpillar generators in a powerhouse
- Diagnose and troubleshoot C175 engines and genset repairs
- Repair engines, fuel systems, and heat exchangers
- Use Caterpillar SIS and ET daily




- Complete service reports, warranty records, and inspections

Requirements:

- Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician certification
- C175 experience preferred
- Valid driver’s licence and successful recent driver’s abstract
- Powerhouse operation experience considered an asset
- Previous Caterpillar power generation or mining experience considered an asset
