Deliver emergency nursing care at Quinte Health’s Belleville General Hospital, using critical thinking and advanced clinical skills. Work within a multidisciplinary department averaging 115 patient visits daily.

This Registered Nurse position supports Belleville’s Emergency Department, serving ICU, Internal Medicine, inpatient surgery, gynecology, maternity, and Schedule One psychiatry patients. The team includes RNs, RPNs, physicians, physician assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and allied health professionals. Extensive orientation includes classroom learning, one-to-one mentoring, and preceptor support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assume in-charge responsibility and function independently
- Formulate cooperative patient care plans
- Assess physical, emotional,



and psychosocial patient status
- Implement interventions within professional scope
- Evaluate patient outcomes and nursing responses

Requirements:

- Current Ontario nursing registration or eligibility
- Current ACLS certification or recertification enrollment
- Current BLS or CPR certification
- Coronary Care 1 or equivalent completion
- Two years recent emergency nursing experience within five years
