Build production agents for Float’s intelligent financial operating system using frontier models, evaluation, and context management in Toronto’s hybrid workplace.

As a Senior Applied AI Engineer, you will help create the foundation for Float’s financial agent. The work spans agent infrastructure, product interfaces, and reliable LLM-backed systems. You will turn model intelligence into practical products for more than 10,000 Canadian companies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ship agents from prototype through production at scale
- Build context, tools, evaluations, monitoring, and observability
- Design permissions, approvals, audit trails, and uncertainty handling
- Create chat, generative user interface, and multi-channel experiences




- Partner with product teams launching agent capabilities

Requirements:

- Typically five or more years of software engineering experience
- Experience shipping and operating agents or LLM systems
- Depth in product engineering or backend agent infrastructure
- Current knowledge of models, inference, and context management
- Experience working with ownership in growing companies
