Provide trauma patient care at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre using assessment, intervention, education, and advocacy skills. Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues.

This Registered Nurse supports Person-Centred Care and Sunnybrook’s Mission and Values. The position requires current trauma experience, excellent assessment skills, and surgical knowledge. Patient and family teaching, communication, and teamwork are central to care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide primary care for trauma patients
- Assess patients and deliver appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and families about care
- Advocate for patients throughout treatment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members

Requirements:

- Current Ontario Certificate of Competence
- Current B.C.L.S. certification
- Current trauma experience required
- Surgical experience with pre-op and post-op care
- Excellent assessment, interpersonal, and communication skills
