TAG Pest Control is hiring a Service Technician to join our field team serving homes and businesses across the Lower Mainland. If you’re reliable, good with people, comfortable getting your hands dirty, and want a stable career in a hands-on trade, we want to hear from you.

We provide full training and help you get your BC Structural Pest Control Applicator certification, so you don’t need a license to apply.

What You’ll Do

- Inspect homes and commercial sites to find pest activity, entry points, and conditions that attract pests
- Treat mice, rats, ants, wasps, spiders, and other common pests, following our proven procedures
- Install, check, and maintain bait stations, traps, and monitoring equipment
- Help install bird control solutions such as spikes and netting
- Complete recurring service visits for residential and commercial customers
- Explain your findings to customers, including what you did, what they can do to help, and next steps
- Record service notes, photos, and recommendations in our software
- Follow WorkSafeBC and TAG safety protocols, including PPE, ladder safety, and safe product handling
- Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked
- Spot structural issues or exclusion opportunities and pass them along to the team
- Take part in training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety meetings

What We’re Looking For

- A valid BC Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required)
- A willingness to learn and follow our procedures.



We’ll teach you the pest side.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude with customers
- The ability to work independently and manage a daily route once trained
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working in attics, crawlspaces, commercial kitchens, warehouses, and outdoors in all weather
- Comfort using ladders regularly
- Experience in trades, field service, landscaping, maintenance, or customer service is a plus, but not required

Working Conditions

- Field-based role with a lot of driving across the Lower Mainland
- Work in homes, restaurants, warehouses, rooflines, crawlspaces, and attics
- Exposure to pests, droppings, insulation, dust, and weather
- PPE required for all inspections and treatments
- Occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
