Hawkes Contracting Inc. is growing and would like to find another qualified crew lead!

The Siding Crew Lead coordinates siding installation work, guides crew members, and monitors quality and progress. This hands-on role combines construction knowledge, plan interpretation, and practical project coordination to keep work organized and aligned with project requirements.

Must have valid drivers licence and reliable transportation.

Duties

- Lead and support the crew through daily siding tasks, coordinating work and communicating priorities.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project details, plan installation steps, and clarify instructions.
- Inspect completed work for quality, identify issues, and coordinate corrections to meet project specifications.
- Track project costs and estimates,



and use construction management software to organize schedules, documents, and updates.
- Your impact: Transparent coordination helps the crew deliver consistent, accurate work and keeps project teams informed.

Skills Required: Practical construction experience, blueprint and schematic reading, quality control, and the ability to guide crew work and coordinate tasks are important for this role. Budgeting and construction estimating skills support cost awareness and planning.

Preferred: Supervising experience.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
