Operate industrial equipment at Stelco’s Nanticoke facility, using physical strength, agility, and strict safety practices across rotating shifts.

As a permanent Production Operator, you will support operations across the plant’s producing units. The work involves handling, transporting, and processing products and materials with equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, tractors, and heavy equipment. You may work throughout a unionized, highly industrial facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support operations across various plant producing units
- Handle, transport, and process products and materials
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, tractors, and heavy equipment
- Perform shoveling, lifting, climbing, and small-space work
- Follow established safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements:

- Two or more years’ industrial or manufacturing experience
- High school diploma or post-secondary degree
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Ability to tolerate hot, cold, dirty, wet, and noisy conditions
- Ability to work rotating eight- and twelve-hour shifts
