Job Description

We are seeking an experienced JDE Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial modules to support finance transformation, implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive functional knowledge of JDE Finance applications, strong accounting and financial process understanding, and experience working closely with finance, accounting, and technical teams to deliver effective business solutions.

This is a 12-month contract position requiring onsite presence 4 days per week at the client location in Mississauga / Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to finance and accounting processes.
- Configure and support Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial modules.
- Work closely with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and business processes.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, upgrade, rollout, and enhancement projects.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend appropriate JDE Finance solutions.
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), business process documentation, and functional specifications.
- Develop and execute functional test scripts and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide production support and troubleshoot functional issues within established SLA timelines.




- Coordinate with technical teams on customizations, reports, interfaces, integrations, and enhancements.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Assist with data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
- Conduct end-user training, knowledge transfer, and change management activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in JD Edwards Finance Functional Consulting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial modules.
- Experience with at least one full-cycle JDE implementation project.
- Proven experience in production support, enhancements, upgrades, or rollout projects.
- Robust understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.
- Experience working with finance, accounting, and cross-functional business teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work onsite 4 days per week in Mississauga / Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2.
- Oracle JD Edwards certifications.
- Experience in global finance operations or shared services environments.
- Exposure to procurement, distribution, or manufacturing modules.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
- Knowledge of financial controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
