Position Summary:

The Site Servicing Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for civil and infrastructure projects, including watermain, sanitary sewer, storm systems, excavation, grading, and road construction. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and experience reviewing engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Analyze project risks and pricing opportunities
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams
- Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information




- Prepare bid submissions within deadlines

Qualifications

- Experience in civil construction or site servicing estimating
- Solid understanding of underground utilities and roadworks
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of local municipal standards and construction practices
- Valid driver’s license preferred

Preferred Experience

- Experience with projects involving sewer, watermain, storm, grading, and excavation
- Familiarity with Ontario infrastructure projects and tendering processes
