As a start-up lawyer, you will advise growth companies on corporate legal services and related employment matters. The position requires a law degree, Ontario membership, and at least five years advising entrepreneurs and start-ups. You will operate independently while delivering explicit, business-driven answers under time pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise companies on formation and shareholders' agreements
- Support private placements and corporate transactions
- Prepare stock option plans and license agreements
- Draft terms and conditions of use
- Represent Caravel at start-up conferences and networking events

Requirements:

- Law degree
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- At least five years advising entrepreneurs and start-ups
- Ability to provide clear, business-driven answers under pressure
- Comfort operating autonomously and running mandates independently
