This experienced Produce Manager role oversees department performance in a large-format retail food setting. You will manage purchasing, pricing, merchandising, labor, sanitation, and employee development. The position supports Food World Plus’s focus on authentic multi-ethnic groceries, responsible sourcing, quality improvement, and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and negotiate produce pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Manage inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, labor, and operations
- Train, supervise, and schedule department employees
- Record markups, markdowns, refunds, voids,



and spoilage write-offs
- Maintain stocked, faced, clean, sanitary refrigerated cases and shelves

Requirements:

- Five years’ produce department experience in large-format retail food
- Three years’ experience in a management role
- Knowledge of produce varieties, products, and merchandising
- Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
