Operate massive mining equipment at Greenstone Mine in Geraldton, Ontario, using wheel loaders and mass excavators safely and productively. Support daily production targets.

As a Production Miner, you will report to the Operations Supervisor at Equinox Gold’s flagship open-pit gold operation. The work centers on 500–600-ton production wheel loaders and mass excavators, excavating overburden and blasted rock, then loading 240-ton haul trucks. Safety, communication, inspections, and accurate reporting are central to the position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate production wheel loaders and mass excavators safely
- Complete pre-operational checks and shift walk-around inspections
- Excavate overburden and blasted rock using operating practices




- Load 240-ton haul trucks safely and efficiently
- Record production, delays, and safety issues in daily reports

Requirements:

- Five-plus years operating heavy mining equipment
- Experience with production wheel loaders and mass excavators
- Valid driver’s license
- Heavy Equipment Operator training or related experience
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly
