Lead municipal revenue operations for the City of Whitehorse, applying financial analysis and compliance expertise in Yukon’s capital city. Oversee taxation, billing, and receivables programs.

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Services, the Supervisor, Revenue Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight. The role covers property taxation, utility billing, and accounts receivable. It supports financial integrity, legislative compliance, continuous improvement, and long-term municipal sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead property taxation, utility billing, and accounts receivable functions
- Ensure revenue programs operate effectively and maintain financial integrity
- Drive improvements across revenue policies, systems, and processes




- Provide financial analysis and oversee complex issues and escalations
- Advise stakeholders on municipal revenue matters

Requirements:

- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience
- Two years’ supervisory experience in municipal or public sector
- Experience with property assessment, taxation, and utility billing
- Knowledge of municipal legislation, regulatory requirements, and PSAB
