: Under the direction of the program area manager, as applicable, and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker BSW provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primarily adult community mental health and addiction population. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience
- Experience working with mental health and addiction community outreach
- Knowledge in various mental health and addiction and harm reduction strategies
- Knowledge in community resources and services in the clinical area
- Knowledge in applicable Acts
- Knowledge in harm reduction in Addictions Medicine
- Knowledge in recovery philosophy
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to enter and retrieve data in computer database systems
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge in various mental health disorders and stability interventions
- Knowledge in various intervention strategies for individuals and groups
