: Reporting to the Manager, the Social Worker - MSW is a highly specialized clinical practitioner responsible for the delivery of advanced psychosocial services to patients and families across the province.

The Social

Worker - MSW will work independently without readily available access to supervision/consultation. The position provides advanced counselling, Psychotherapy, system navigation, and clinical support in the context of serious illness, palliative care, grief, bereavement, and medical assistance in dying (MAID).

- Ability to employ biopsychosocial approach in provisional care to patients
- Advocacy skills to address barriers and promote equitable access to care
- Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise and initiative

- Knowledge in end of life care and strategies for patients and families
- Ability to manage a complex caseload with multiple demands
- Knowledge in various counselling modalities
