The IT Support & Security Specialist supports daily technical operations and long-term security initiatives at this gender-inclusive JK-12 independent school. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues while administering identity management, endpoint protection, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi. The position also supports privacy compliance, incident response, backups, system upgrades, and security awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support hardware, software, and network issues across devices
- Administer identity access systems and secure authentication practices




- Monitor alerts and assist incident investigations and remediation
- Manage switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections
- Maintain backups, disaster recovery, patches, and documentation

Requirements:

- Relevant master’s degree preferred
- Endpoint protection and identity management experience
- Strong network infrastructure understanding
- Cloud services and SaaS application experience
- Security framework and privacy regulation knowledge
