The Mental Health Resource Nurse III serves Prairie Mountain Health’s Seniors Mental Health regional team and assigned care facilities. This clinical position supports transitional, acute, and long term care through assessment, education, referrals, and navigation. Three years of recent mental health experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guide interdisciplinary assessments of bio-psycho-social and spiritual needs
- Develop individualized care plans with collected assessment data
- Provide consultation during psychiatric and mental health crises
- Support staff education, orientation,



and mental health literacy
- Coordinate referrals, navigation, and follow-up with services

Requirements:

- Baccalaureate Degree in Psychiatric Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing
- Manitoba Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse licensure
- Three years’ relevant mental health experience within five years
- Current BLS, NVCI, and ASIST training
- Class 5 licence and personal vehicle access
