Lead financial reporting and accounting controls for Agnico Eagle’s Nunavut divisions, with hybrid work from Mirabel, Val-d’Or, or Rouyn-Noranda.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Superintendent, the Financial Controller supervises accountants, administrative technicians, and finance team members. You will manage monthly and quarterly closings, financial statements, audits, planning exercises, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. The role supports accurate divisional reporting and effective administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls
- Oversee monthly and quarterly closing and divisional reporting
- Approve quarterly reports, analyses, and financial statements




- Coordinate internal and external audit requests
- Supervise and coach finance team members

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with CPA designation
- Five to ten years of financial or accounting experience
- Mining experience considered an asset
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel
- English as the official Nunavut operations language
