GFL seeks a responsible and reliable Emergency Response Operator for its Bowmanville division. The work includes environmental clean-up, chemical transfers, hazardous-materials incident mitigation, and industrial services. Operators also support chemical firefighting, dangerous goods consulting, and confined space rescue activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct environmental clean-up activities
- Mitigate hazardous-materials incidents and perform chemical transfers
- Perform technical rescue and chemical firefighting activities




- Respond to emergencies and participate in industrial services
- Complete documentation, reporting, and required training

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education, preferably in a related study area
- Pre-service Fire, Medical, or Police training
- NFPA 472 Hazardous Material Operations
- NFPA 1001 Level 1 or 2
- Valid DZ license with suitable drivers abstract
