Project Description The Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) Species at Risk Branch (SARB) is responsible for the administration and issuance of Registrations under the new Species Conservation Act (SCA), 2025. The objective of this project is to build a up-to-date online Registration system for both external and internal users.

Technology stack : Microsoft Dynamics CRM (backoffice), MuleSoft (middleware) and Java/React (public facing portal)

Description

- This position is to develop public facing portal for Registration and Permit workflows (NextJS, TypeScript, React) for Ontario public and integrate this backoffice developed in MS Dynamics CRM via Mulesoft middleware.

- Knowledge and experience of microservice architecture as well as a demonstrated ability to apply core architecture principles to enhance a product's extensibility and maintainability.

1) Core Skills and Experience - 35%

- 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in the large-scale multi-client web applications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience of React, Javascript, Typescript, RestAPI, RESTful WebServices
- Working experience of RXJS, NextJS, VueJS
- Knowledge and experience of microservice architecture as well as a demonstrated ability to apply core architecture principles to




- Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
- Proven experience with WCAG and AODA
- Experience with Responsive Web application development

2) Technical Skills - 35%

- Object Oriented coding practices, including design patterns knowledge, refactoring, clean code.
- Experience with one or more communications protocols
