Analyze financial and costing data for the Chicken division while supporting the Calgary plant’s operational reporting and continuous improvement meetings.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Controller supports financial statement close, internal controls, reconciliations, and variance reporting. The role partners with the Plant Manager and operational leadership team through actionable analysis. It also develops plant reporting, supports business case modelling, and identifies cost reduction opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and comment on financial results
- Support month end financial statement close processes
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and payroll functions
- Provide analysis for plant decisions and capital acquisitions
- Support continuous improvement through shop floor presence

Requirements:

- Skilled Accounting Designation, CPA
- Five or more years in a related manufacturing role
- Food industry experience considered an asset
- Strong analytical, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Expert Excel and Microsoft Office application skills
