We are currently hiring Solar Installation Labourers to support our Brooks Project. This role involves hands-on work installing solar PV systems, including modules, racking, and related hardware. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and interested in working outdoors while learning a skilled trade in the renewable energy industry.

Duration:

Roughly 8 weeks worth of work

Location:

Brooks Alberta (Must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from the jobsite)

Responsibilities:

· Assist with commercial rooftop solar installations

· Install PV modules, racking systems, mounting hardware, and balance-of-system components

· Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites

· Support electricians and senior installers during system installation

· Use basic hand and power tools safely and correctly

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site

· Follow company policies, safety standards, and fall protection procedures

· Work outdoors in varying weather conditions





· Operate / Work in a mobile work platform or at heights

· Perform other general labour tasks as required

· Directing traffic at or near construction sites

Skills and Qualifications

● CSTS 2020

● Construction or labour experience is an asset, but not required

● Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops

● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day

● Strong work ethic and positive attitude

● Willingness to learn and follow instructions

● Reliable transportation to job sites

● Valid driver’s license (preferred)

● Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (if required)

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

● Previous solar installation experience

● Elevated Work Platform Certificate

● Fall Protection Certificate

● Experience with roofing, construction, or outdoor work

● Familiarity with ladders, lifts, and fall protection systems
