The System Support Specialist provides information systems management and user support for the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth. You will maintain databases, websites, access controls, and third-party software while collaborating with Digital nGenuity. The permanent, full-time position supports clergy, staff, parishes, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Train recent users and coordinate account setups and closures
- Answer system questions and escalate unresolved technical issues
- Manage permissions, passwords, databases, and software updates




- Configure backend settings for software products and web services
- Communicate system updates, outages, and changes to staff

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in information technology or related field
- Minimum three years of IT administration experience
- Proficiency with ChurchSuite, Blackbaud, websites, and Microsoft products
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain sensitive, highly confidential information
