Audiovisual estimating expertise drives accurate proposals for Bosch Building Technologies, covering commercial AV, security, and structured cabling systems. This role supports pre-sales through detailed cost analysis.

As an AV Estimator, you will analyze requirements, develop system solutions, and prepare competitive estimates for RFPs, RFQs, and other bids. You will interpret drawings, specifications, and system designs while coordinating with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and vendor partners. Your work supports compliant, cost-effective proposals and complete integrated low voltage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare budgets for commercial AV, security, and cabling systems
- Develop labor, materials, logistics, and bill of materials estimates
- Interpret blueprints, risers, schematics, and project specifications




- Obtain pricing from manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractors
- Coordinate timely bid submissions with internal stakeholders

Requirements:

- Five years of progressive structured cabling estimating experience
- Commercial AV estimating experience across conferencing and room integration
- Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, and Shure
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and estimating software proficiency
- Robust organization, communication, and attention to detail
