Lead IT operations at SJC, combining cybersecurity readiness with hands-on Tier 3 expertise across infrastructure, networks, and endpoints.

As IT Operations Lead, you will manage and develop a small IT team while remaining involved in complex technical issues. The role spans on-premises servers, enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, identity, and endpoint management. You will strengthen incident response through tabletop exercises, access management, patching, and recovery practices. You will also guide AI tools, scripting, and automation to reduce manual work across IT operations and security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a small IT team
- Resolve complex Tier 3 infrastructure, networking, and security escalations
- Oversee servers, networks, cloud infrastructure, identity, and endpoints




- Plan cybersecurity tabletop exercises and improve incident response readiness
- Guide automation and AI adoption across IT operations

Requirements:

- Four-plus years contributing consistently on up-to-date IT teams
- One to two-plus years of management experience
- Experience with Windows Server or Linux and enterprise networks
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and identity access management
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing IT staff
