This temporary Educational Assistant position runs from November 30, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The 1.0 FTE assignment provides 35 hours weekly across a 10-month position. You will assist prescribed programs in individual and group settings, support Individualized Education Plans, and help students develop academically, socially, and physically.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist prescribed programs for special needs students
- Support transitions between home and school
- Help implement Individualized Education Plans
- Observe, document, and report student development
- Assist with behaviour management and de-escalation

Requirements:
- Educational assistant program completion or equivalent
- Minimum one year working with children
- Positive and empathetic attitude toward students
- Ability to maintain confidential information discreetly
- Ability to perform toileting and lifting tasks
