Lead heavy civil estimating in Calgary with HeavyBid expertise and responsibility for accurate, competitive infrastructure tenders. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager, you will lead estimating for roads, infrastructure, and site works across Southern Alberta. The position covers quantity takeoffs, pricing, risk assessment, tender interpretation, and compliant submissions. You will also guide estimators, support proposals, and connect pre-construction with operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop accurate cost estimates for heavy civil infrastructure projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Price labour, equipment, materials, trades, and indirect costs




- Assemble compliant bids and present strategies to leadership
- Lead turnover meetings with project managers and superintendents

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 10+ years of construction estimating experience
- Heavy civil, roadwork, or infrastructure experience preferred
- Experience mentoring estimators or leading estimating teams
- HeavyBid, HeavyJob, or HCSS product experience is an asset
