Support production equipment programming in Mississauga using Visual Basic, C, C#, Python, .NET, and SQL database knowledge. This six-month contract is full time.

ROMET Limited seeks a Software Programmer for its manufacturing company and Manufacturing Engineering team. You will troubleshoot production equipment software, investigate incomplete cycles and production rejects, and develop controls-related equipment with Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technologists. The position reports to the ME and Facilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support and troubleshoot production equipment programming issues
- Investigate software programs failing to complete expected cycles
- Investigate production rejects and document findings




- Develop controls-related equipment with engineering technologists
- Record program changes for future error proofing

Requirements:

- Minimum two years as a software programmer
- Manufacturing environment experience and exposure
- Knowledge of Visual Basic 6, C, C#, Python, or .NET
- Strong SQL database knowledge and computer literacy
- Community college certificate or diploma, or related work experience
