Apply HVAC and refrigeration expertise at the Ekati mine site in a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation from Yellowknife.

The HVAC Technician supports the Processing & Asset Optimization Team, reporting to the Team Leader, Maintenance Services. This full-time role installs, repairs, and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Work includes air handling, cooling, heating, de-humidification, ventilation, air exchange, air cleaning, controls, and control circuitry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance inspections, site surveys, replacements, and modifications
- Set up and install new HVAC/R systems
- Maintain and repair electrical HVAC equipment components
- Maintain walk-in boxes, freezers, controls,



and ice-making equipment
- Maintain documentation and ensure Halocarbon compliance

Requirements:

- Journeyperson certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Three to five years’ industrial maintenance experience
- Class 5 driver’s license required
- Siemens, Johnson Controls, SAP, and computer literacy preferred
