Island Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a temporary full time assignment at Eric Martin Pavilion. Working with three NPs, you will support five Assertive Community Treatment teams within MHSU Complex Community Care. The position combines autonomous practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication prescribing. Services occur at the ACT office and through outreach to hard-to-reach or isolated clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients and diagnose diseases, disorders, and conditions
- Initiate treatment, manage care, and prescribe medications
- Provide primary care and addictions medicine through ACT teams




- Conduct outreach for hard-to-reach or isolated clients
- Refer clients to physicians and other health professionals

Requirements:

- BC College of Nurses and Midwives practicing NP registration
- Two years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience
- Ability to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to lead, teach, coach, and mentor others
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
