About the Opportunity

Oak Bay HR is seeking hardworking, dependable individuals on behalf of an established company specializing in marine, industrial, and environmental services.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding position involving specialized cleaning operations at various marine and industrial sites. Frequent travel is an essential part of this role, and candidates must be comfortable working at different project locations, often away from the Dartmouth area.

Previous experience in industrial or marine cleaning is an asset, but we also welcome candidates with a robust work ethic, a willingness to learn, and experience in other physically demanding industries.

What You'll Be Doing

· Perform specialized cleaning of marine vessels, tanks, and industrial equipment.

· Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean surfaces and remove debris.

· Work in vessel engine rooms, ballast tanks, cargo tanks, and other industrial environments.

· Operate aerial lifts and other specialized equipment when required and properly trained.

· Assist with marine services, environmental operations, and hazardous waste handling.

· Travel frequently to various job sites and project locations as required.

· Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently.

· Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.

What We're Looking For

· Experience in industrial cleaning, marine operations, construction,



or similar hands-on work is an asset.

· Ability and willingness to travel frequently for work, including potential overnight stays and extended periods away from home.

· Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working in challenging environments.

· Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and emergency callouts when required.

· Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.

· Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team.

· Willingness to learn specialized cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
