Lead resident care at Elizabeth Centre as a Co-Director of Care, using RPN nursing practice and long-term care leadership skills onsite.

Reporting to the Director of Care, this full time permanent position supports 128 residents in Val Caron. You will coordinate essential programs, manage staff, maintain resident records, and uphold nursing standards. The role includes wound care, infection control, quality improvement, education, and community outreach responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate wound care, infection control, and quality improvement programs
- Manage recruitment, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staff mentoring
- Ensure accurate resident assessment data and resident files
- Support education, orientation, committees, students, and volunteers
- Maintain supplies and contribute to policy development

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Completed or enrolled Long Term Care Senior Management program
- Two years of preferred long-term care gerontology experience
- Active interest in ongoing education
- Computer literacy
