The Patient Care Coordinator works under a manager or designate within Northern Health. This position coordinates admissions, discharges, transfers, patient care, bed allocation, staffing, and quality care. The coordinator also supports patient care standards and hospital operations when leaders or senior administrators are absent.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate admission, discharge, and patient transfer processes
- Coordinate patient and resident care when necessary
- Allocate beds and support productive patient flow

Requirements:

- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Current registration with BCCNM
- Five years of recent acute care experience
