Apply accounting expertise and data analysis as Starlight Investments’ Senior Accountant, Properties supporting its CORE Finance team. Review property results with technology-enabled accuracy.

Reporting to the Manager, Finance, you will review third-party property manager submissions and support financial reporting across Starlight’s investment funds. Your work covers financial results, reconciliations, variance analysis, and process improvements. The role also supports transaction accounting, audits, filings, and technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review monthly property financial results and variance reports
- Maintain consolidated, corporate, and property-level reconciliations
- Record correcting entries and resolve reporting discrepancies




- Support audits, government filings, acquisitions, and dispositions
- Apply AI and automation to accounting workflows

Requirements:

- One to two years of accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT preferred
- Understanding of IFRS and ASPE accounting principles
- Moderate Microsoft Excel skills and analytical capabilities
- ERP, Power BI, or CPA progress considered assets
