Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland. Support inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging.

This Registered Cardiac Sonographer position requires robust technical skills, attention to detail, and patient-centered care. You will acquire diagnostic-quality images, document findings, and collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, sonographers, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. The primary location is Georgian Bay General Hospital, with some work at the RVH Georgian Drive campus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform accurate transthoracic echocardiograms for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Acquire and analyze diagnostic-quality images following departmental protocols
- Document and communicate findings appropriately




- Maintain echocardiography competency and support quality assurance initiatives
- Provide compassionate care while ensuring patient safety and comfort

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonography program
- Current Sonography Canada or ARDMS Adult Echocardiography registration
- Current CMRITO membership in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- One to three years of Registered Cardiac Sonographer experience
