The APN applies advanced nursing knowledge, theory, and research evidence across practice, education, research, and leadership. This Masters-prepared role supports system-wide changes, specialized burn wound practices, and evidence-based care. Collaboration includes interprofessional teams, point of care nurses, Patient Care Managers, and nursing leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct and indirect clinical care
- Advance nursing practice within interprofessional teams
- Develop and model evidence-based clinical practices
- Lead quality improvement initiatives within RTBC
- Support performance and practice reviews

Requirements:

- Current Ontario College of Nurses Certificate of Competence
- Current BCLS certificate
- Masters degree in Nursing or Wound Care completed or progressing
- Minimum three years recent burn care experience
- Leadership, research, collaboration, and communication skills
