Build cloud security detection across AWS and Microsoft 365 in a hybrid Cyber Security Engineer role supporting an AI-first business.

This Cyber Security Engineer will help build the security function from the ground up. The work covers deployment, configuration, detection engineering, and incident response principles. You will shape SIEM capabilities, alert management, escalation paths, and out-of-hours response procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build rather than administer the SIEM platform
- Author and fine-tune complex detection rules
- Evaluate penetration test and security diagnostic findings
- Track critical issues through resolution with appropriate teams
- Define alert escalation paths and on-call procedures

Requirements:

- First-class knowledge of the AWS security ecosystem
- First-class knowledge of the Microsoft security ecosystem
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, identity management, and application security
- Familiarity with CloudTrail, CloudWatch, IAM, GuardDuty, Inspector, and Detective
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, PIM, Conditional Access, and Defender
