About the role

EY is hiring a Staff Consultant for its Risk, Process & Controls team in Montreal. The role supports consulting engagements focused on non-financial risk, internal controls, business process risk assessments and internal audit.

Responsibilities

- Support enterprise, operational, third-party, digital and data risk management programs.
- Assist with risk and control operating model assessments and IT governance, risk and compliance programs.
- Contribute to internal audit, SOX and internal controls projects, including control walkthroughs, documentation, evaluation and testing.
- Identify control enhancements and process improvement opportunities, and prepare client analyses and deliverables.
- Communicate progress,



issues and risks to senior team members while delivering work within established timelines.

Qualifications

- One to three years of relevant experience and an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, business, STEM or a related field.
- Experience or demonstrated knowledge in internal audit, internal controls, SOX, ICFR, ITGCs or non-financial risk.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and solid organizational, communication and time-management skills.
- Fluency in French and English.
- CPA, CIA, CISA or CRISC designation, or interest in pursuing a relevant designation, is an asset.

Compensation

Montreal salary range: $65,500 to $99,000 per year.
