This full time, permanent Team Lead, Safety and Health reports to the Vice President, Operations. The position advises senior leadership while integrating health and safety requirements across operations, projects, maintenance, field execution, contractors, emergency response, and corporate decisions. The work requires practical, legally compliant guidance and disciplined operational influence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute safety and health strategies, plans, and roadmaps
- Set standards, indicators, accountabilities, and performance targets
- Coach leaders, employees, and contractors on risk controls
- Maintain Harvest’s SHEMS and governance processes




- Lead emergency response, investigations, reporting, and corrective actions

Requirements:

- 15+ years’ health and safety experience in high-hazard industries
- 10+ years’ leadership experience supervising safety professionals
- Education in occupational health, industrial hygiene, or related discipline
- Knowledge of Alberta and British Columbia regulatory requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and field travel ability
