Install and troubleshoot critical data center infrastructure as a Data Center Technician in fully onsite Prince George, British Columbia. Work hands-on with servers, cabling, and network equipment.

This contract role covers Levels 2 and 3 across the full infrastructure lifecycle. You will install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and decommission servers and network equipment. The work includes fiber optic and copper cabling, documentation, inventory, vendor coordination, and junior technician mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, rack, and stack servers and related data center hardware
- Terminate and splice fiber optic and copper cabling
- Troubleshoot server, network, connectivity, and hardware issues
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and project teams




- Maintain installation, inventory, and asset documentation

Requirements:

- Minimum 2+ years of server racking and hardware installation experience
- Experience with fiber optic and copper data cabling
- Solid server, network, and infrastructure troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and rack elevations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely
