Develop major capital project estimates with Trans Mountain using advanced Excel, cost engineering, and transparent Project Controls practices in-office. Support Pacific Link across its full lifecycle.

As a Senior Estimator, you will develop, maintain, and assure Class 5 through Class 3 estimates. Your work integrates scope, quantities, market intelligence, contracting assumptions, schedule, risk, and contingency. You will provide evidence-based cost insight for project leaders and governance bodies, while collaborating with Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, Finance, Risk, Scheduling, partners, contractors, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and reconcile Class 5 through Class 3 project estimates
- Prepare quantity take-offs, cost models, workbooks, pricing summaries, and cash-flow profiles
- Review scope, engineering deliverables, schedules, strategies, studies, and proposals
- Lead estimate challenge sessions,



validation reviews, benchmarking, and reconciliation
- Support risk assessment, contingency development, funding requests, and sanction decisions

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or related discipline
- Minimum eight years of progressive estimating or cost engineering experience
- Major capital project experience in pipeline, terminal, marine, energy, or infrastructure environments
- Advanced Excel and estimating software skills
- Robust AACE classification, validation, escalation, contingency, and cost-risk knowledge
