Manage Canadian payroll with Workday expertise at Novus Automotive, supporting accurate, compliant payments across Ontario dealerships and business units.

Reporting to the CFO, this Payroll Manager oversees full-cycle payroll alongside an existing Payroll Manager. The work spans seven payroll companies and includes processing, reconciliations, reporting, compliance, and employee changes. Collaboration with Human Resources, Finance, and dealership Controllers supports accurate day-to-day delivery. The ideal candidate holds the Payroll Compliance Professional designation and brings five-plus years of hands-on payroll experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll across all pay types
- Validate timesheets, bonuses, overtime, deductions, and perks contributions
- Prepare statutory remittances and reports, including CRA,



EHT, and WSIB
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts with Finance
- Support Workday optimization and payroll process improvements

Requirements:

- Five-plus years of full-cycle Canadian payroll experience
- Proficiency with the Workday payroll system
- Understanding of Canadian legislation, employment standards, and CRA compliance
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong accuracy, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
