Lead civil quality control in the field with Bird, inspecting concrete, earthworks, piling, and related industrial construction activities. Work a 14-day on, 7-day off fly-in/fly-out schedule.

As a QA/QC Coordinator, Civil, you will support Bird’s Quality Assurance Program across Industrial West projects. The position requires civil drawing interpretation, documentation control, inspections, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, engineering, and supervision. You will help confirm specified requirements throughout construction and final acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect rebar, formwork, embeds, anchor bolts, and concrete pours
- Verify earthworks, compaction, backfilling, and material results
- Review subcontracted piling work against project specifications




- Generate non-conformance reports and coordinate closure
- Maintain ITPs, quality records, turnover documents, and punch lists

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum three years’ quality control or civil construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings
- Knowledge of ASME, CSA, and Building Codes
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
