This Claims Advisor handles routine and complex physical damage and cargo claims. The work supports prompt, fair settlements through coverage analysis, investigations, respectful communication, negotiation, and legislative compliance. The position serves customers, brokers, claimants, lawyers, and other insurers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze insurance policies and determine coverage for routine and complex claims
- Assess fair entitlements for physical damage and cargo claims
- Communicate respectfully with customers, brokers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers




- Investigate and settle cargo and environmental losses across Canada and US
- Collaborate with Bodily Injury teams on significant losses

Requirements:

- At least two years adjusting commercial auto claims
- Knowledge of provincial legislation governing auto insurance
- Expertise handling moderate to complex claims and effective negotiation
- Robust analytical, decision-making, and time management skills
- CIP designation or Atlantic Provincial Licenses considered assets
