As Lead Substation Engineer, you will lead engineering and design teams delivering modifications and upgrades for client requirements. You will prepare relaying philosophies, SCADA concepts, calculations, technical documents, and specifications. The work includes detailed protection and controls design, independent reviews, client coordination, and mentoring engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead engineering and design teams on substation modifications and upgrades
- Prepare relaying philosophies, equipment selections, and SCADA configurations
- Analyze single line, relaying, metering, and schematic diagrams




- Investigate engineering issues and support troubleshooting assignments
- Coordinate designs with engineers, clients, suppliers, and project managers

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science Engineering degree required
- Ten or more years protecting, controlling, or communicating for HV substations
- PE or P.Eng license required
- Experience with relay calculations and technical design documentation
- Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, CDEGS, or vendor software

Lead HV and EHV substation protection work through relaying, controls, communications, reviews, and engineering coordination.
