Lead regional fleet operations at GFL Environmental through financial analysis, asset utilization, and internal shop performance across assigned branches.

The Area Fleet Director oversees regional fleet performance and future acquisitions while partnering with branch leadership, compliance, and maintenance teams. This strategic leader manages fleet P&Ls;, capital planning, preventive maintenance compliance, and safety standards. The position also mentors fleet professionals and develops vendor relationships supporting service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop financial analysis and fleet performance reporting
- Manage utilization, shop performance, and PM compliance metrics
- Oversee regional fleet operations, inventory, and inspections
- Manage asset replacement, expansion,



procurement, and retirement
- Mentor fleet, shop, and compliance personnel

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5–8+ years of progressive fleet management experience
- 3+ years of leadership or people management experience
- Fleet P&L;, budgeting, procurement, and lifecycle planning experience
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region
