Lead canoe-based leadership development at YMCA Camp Pine Crest in Torrance, Ontario, using coaching and outdoor education skills. This seasonal overnight contract is part time.

The Senior Leadership Trainer Flat Water facilitates programs that build self-awareness, resilience, confidence, and practical skills. You will mentor participants in camp and flat-water canoe trip environments. The work includes supervision, safety, high-quality programming, and support for future camp staff opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan activities, learning sessions, and participant debriefs
- Coach participants through constructive reflection and improvement
- Deliver programming on-site and during canoe trips
- Supervise participants and maintain group safety




- Facilitate assignments supporting high school credit requirements

Requirements:

- Minimum three years working with youth in leadership development
- Experience leading canoe trips and extensive canoe-tripping knowledge
- Required First Aid, CPR, and listed water certifications
- Ability to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum age of 20 by contract start
