Lead strategic communications for UBC’s Academy of Translational Medicine, using content development and stakeholder engagement to advance translational medicine awareness.This one-year Communications Specialist position supports the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine. You will develop communications strategies, create digital and print materials, manage website content, and coordinate events. The work advances awareness of ATM and the Regulatory Science Lab across university and external communities.

You will collaborate with faculty, staff, students, alumni, industry, government, funders, and research partners.Key Responsibilities:

Undergraduate degree in a relevant disciplineMinimum four years of related experience or equivalent educationExperience leading communications, social media, copywriting, and website designAdobe Creative Suite and website content management experienceStrong writing, planning, judgment, and stakeholder relationship skillsBring strategic communications, creative production, and event coordination expertise to UBC’s translational medicine community.
